If you're feeling adventurous then Paignton has lots on offer from Windsurfing and Sailing to coastal walks and exciting nightlife.
For those of you that like to take time to just relax, why not visit the sleepy little village of Cockington with its thatched cottages and lazy horse and carriage rides.
Oldway Mansion was originally owned by the Singer family and is now a favourite location for Weddings. With it's picturesque gardens, marble hallways and ornate decor it's well worth the ten minute stroll to take a look.

Although Paignton has a wealth of things to see and do you may like to venture a little further afield. Why not take the steam train ride down to Kingswear, hop of the ferry and spend a day exploring the winding streets of Dartmouth. This historic naval town has a whole host of quaint little shops and coffee bistros where you can while away the hours.
On the outskirts of town, on the way to the little fishing village of Brixham, you will find the recently redeveloped Paignton Zoo. Being one of the largest zoo's in the UK, Paignton Zoo is a day out in itself, and there's always something new to see and do.
